This item was sold to me as a
"tattoo marking pen",
meaning it was used to mark
the skin prior to being
tattooed. Upon further
research I found a short
film clip of the tattooist
using a similar tool to bless
the finished tattoo by
striking the tattooed area
with the tip. Age unknown,
bronze.
